(Cleveland) - Thousands of people with dreams of being an instant millionaire will watch Wednesday night what goes on at the Grayton Road Tavern on the west side.
The bar's Queen of Hearts raffle has been going on close to a year with no winner, and that's why the jackpot is at least $2.8 million. By the time of the 7:30 p.m. drawing, the jackpot could be close to $3 million.
You buy a ticket, put your name and phone number on the back, along with a guess as to which of the un-revealed playing cards is the Queen of Hearts. The game is so popular that sales at Grayton Road Tavern itself are only late at night. In order to cut down on crowds, tickets are sold during the day at six off-site locations, but tickets must be bought no later than 3 p.m. on the day of the drawing.
