After losing the NBA Title to the Cavaliers in 2016, the Warriors went out and convinced Kevin Durant--a former NBA Most Valuable Player--to join the cast of stars that Golden State already had and Durant was the difference in Game 1.

Durant scored 38 points, including 23 points with six assists in the first half and then the Warriors used a 13-0 run to open the third quarter to sail past the Cavaliers, 113-91 in Game 1 of the NBA Finals in front of a sell out crowd at Oracle Arena.
