CLEVELAND - Cleveland Police say a dirt bike driver who allegedly hit an 8-year-old boy and then fled from the scene has turned himself in.
Officers in the fourth district were called to Kerruish Park on Tarkington Avenue, in the Lee-Seville neighborhood, on Saturday evening.
The dirt bike driver rode off, with police searching for the suspect overnight.
Sunday morning, police reported that a 12-year-old boy, accompanied by his grandparents, turned himself in to the fourth district.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital, with what, police say, is likely a broken femur.
