$100,000 In Vandalism Done To Luxury Cars

(North Olmsted) - Keying cars is one thing.  Keying 31 expensive cars is another.

North Olmsted Police have arrested two suspects in multiple vandalisms at three luxury car dealerships on Lorain Road.  19-year-old Wisam Ayyad of North Olmsted (photo above), and a 17-year-old, also from North Olmsted, have been arrested, and are facing numerous counts of vandalism.

Police say that on April 22, they had multiple calls about vandalism to cars at Cleveland Motorsports, Porsche of North Olmsted, and Mercedes-Benz of North Olmsted.  The damage to the 31 cars was about $100,000.

North Olmsted Police are not saying how Ayyad and the juvenile were pinned with the crime.  Police asked if there had been angry or upset employees, but a service manager for one of the dealerships said there weren't any such problems that he knew of.  The owner of the three dealerships put surveillance video on their Facebook page in an attempt to find the vandals (see below).

In addition to Porsches and Mercedes-Benzes, some of the cars damaged included Rolls Royce, Maserati, Aston Martin, and BMW.  Damage to the cars included scratches on the trunk and hood, and dented fenders.
