The bear that crawled under a home in Altadena, California over a week ago is not going anywhere. Homeowner Ken Johnson says he can't get the bruin to leave, so he's forced to live with it. The bear has been growling and hissing, which Johnson and his now nervous cat can hear in the home. Johnson says he's had numerous calls with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife. They suggested using a fan to vent ammonia fumes into the crawlspace but he fears what the bear would do. Thankfully, he says, the only damage so far has been to his trashcan. Some people believe the bear moved to Johnson’s neighborhood after being displaced by the Eaton fire and the cleanup that has been ongoing.
