UFC CEO Dana White still plans to host a fight night at the White House on the Fourth of July next year.
White told the AP the event was "absolutely going to happen," adding "Think about that, the 250th birthday of the United States of America, the UFC will be on the White House south lawn live on CBS."
UFC and Paramount just reached seven-year deal starting in 2026, worth an average of $1.1 billion a year, with all U.S. cards on its streaming platform Paramount+ and select events simulcast on CBS.
White acknowledged that the new broadcast deal with Paramount may impact fighter pay "big time."
