Ohio State University Shutting Down DEI Office To Comply With Trump Order

Officials with the Ohio State University are shutting down the school's Office of Diversity and Inclusion.

President Ted Carter announced the closure this week.

The U.S. Department of Education informed public universities that they would lose federal funding if they kept DEI programs in place under an executive order issued by President Trump.

OSU leaders say all programming offered through the Office of Student Life's Center for Belonging and Social Change is canceled as of today as well.
