A Big Ten football giant is poaching a coach from one of its rivals.
ESPN reports that Penn State is finalizing a deal to make Jim Knowles the team's new defensive coordinator.
He helped Ohio State win a National Championship over Notre Dame and oversaw the country's best team in scoring defense averaging less than 13 points per game.
