The Greater Cleveland Sports Awards presented by Medical Mutual and Ancora will celebrate 25 years on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at Rocket Mortgage Field in Downtown Cleveland. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
Sports Awards is the premier annual sports fundraiser that supports Greater Cleveland Sports Commission and celebrates a year of athletic achievements in Northeast Ohio. This event features appearances from current and former national sports celebrities, a formal dinner and awards ceremony honoring the top high school, collegiate and professional sports accomplishments in 2024.
Award nominations will be selected in the following categories:
·Male High School Athlete of the Year
·Female High School Athlete of the Year
·Male Collegiate Athlete of the Year
·Female Collegiate Athlete of the Year
·Professional Athlete of the Year
The evening will also include a 30th anniversary reunion with members of the 1995 Cleveland Indians American League Championship team. In addition to the Diehard District, various table and packages are available for purchase ranging from $4,000-$7,000 and guarantee purchaser 10 seats, cocktail hour, refreshments during the show and access to the after party.
Following a cocktail hour presented by Physicians Ambulance guests will enjoy a dinner buffet, silent auction and fully-produced awards program led by a nationally recognized host. An announcement regarding this year’s host is forthcoming. The live awards show will be followed by the after party featuring martini and dessert bars and a live DJ.
