Michelle Obama will not be attending Donald Trump's inauguration.
A spokesperson for Michelle and husband Barack Obama confirmed the news on Tuesday.
The former first couple were also not together for the state funeral of Jimmy Carter on January 9.
According to CNN's Jeff Zeleny, Mrs. Obama missed the funeral due to scheduling conflicts and was "still in Hawaii on an extended holiday vacation."
Donald Trump will be inaugurated on January 20.
