Massachusetts Beach Closed Until Sharks Leave: Great White sharks are celebrating the beginning of fall by hanging out at Crane Beach in Ipswich, Massachusetts. At least six sharks are being tracked off the beach, so the town is closing the popular spot until October 1. The Atlantic White Shark Conservancy’s Sharktivity app is keeping track of the predators. Visitors can still walk on the beach, just not near the water.
