Jhonkensy Noel's go-ahead RBI single in the seventh inning propelled the Cleveland Guardians to a 7-5 win over the Kansas City Royals at Progressive Field. The Guardians regained a one-game lead over the Royals in the American League Central with the victory. Noel's RBI single was part of Cleveland's four-run seventh inning that included a solo home run by Bo Naylor. Reliever Eli Morgan got the win and Emmanuel Clase recorded his 39th save of the season. The Guardians snapped a three-game losing streak with the win. They lead the AL Central at 76-and-58. Cleveland hosts Pittsburgh tomorrow night.
