Jhonkensy Noel propelled the Cleveland Guardians to a 2-1 win over the Chicago Cubs at Progressive Field. Noel broke a 1-1 tie with a go-ahead solo home run in the sixth inning. Brayan Rocchio added an RBI. Reliever Pedro Avila got the win and closer Emmanuel Clase [[ clas-AY ]] picked up his 37th save of the season. Cleveland has won four in a row and is 71-and-49.
