The 80th anniversary of the D-Day invasion was celebrated on Sunday in Normandy, France.
Parachutists dropped from WWII-era planes to land on the same beach that U.S. troops secured on June 6th, 1944.
It's the beginning of a full week of ceremonies commemorating the end of World War II in Europe.
