Dorothy Jean Tillman II is one of many 17-year-old graduating this month - except she's not graduating from high school. Or even from college.

No, Tillman is celebrating earning her doctoral degree from Arizona State.

The Chicago native began taking college classes at age 10 and has already earned associate's, bachelors's, and master's degrees. Now she's the youngest person ever to earn a doctorate in integrated behavioral health from Arizona State.

While most of Tillman's classes were taken online, she attended ASU's graduation in person over the weekend.

Dorothy Jean gives credit to her grandmother and namesake, former Chicago Alderwoman Dorothy Tillman.
