The Guardians took their rubber match against the Red Sox after earning a 6-4 victory in the finale from Progressive Field. Hunter Gaddis was credited with the win after pitching two-thirds of a scoreless inning of relief. Emmanuel Clase secured his eight save of the season after striking out one batter in the top of the ninth. Will Brennan slugged a solo shot and Jose Ramirez went deep with a grand slam in the second inning. Cleveland is now 18-and-7.The team opens a three-game set against the Braves in Atlanta tonight.
