Fans of Flaco the Owl gathered in New York City on Sunday to memorialize the late viral sensation.
Flaco, a Eurasian eagle-owl, went viral in early 2023 after being accidentally freed from his cage at the Central Park Zoo.
On Feb. 23, Flaco was found dead on the Upper West Side.
Zoologists have concluded Flaco sustained traumatic impact injuries.
Some suspect Flaco’s injuries came from accidentally flying into a building.
