Downtown Cleveland, Inc. is awarded $100,000 Community Placemaking Grant from Projects for Public Spaces!

  • The grant will allow us to elevate Public Square to a more community-centered space.
  • We will spend the remainder of the year working with the parks experts at Project for Public Spaces to engage community members in creating a shared vision and to implement the improvements.
  • Key Initiatives include:
    • Dedicated staff and storage hub
    • Enhanced resident engagement through physical investments
    • Simplified Event Permitting
  • It is with investments such as these that we create an 18-hour, 15-minute city center that is inviting and attracts talent, jobs, residents, and businesses.

In addition to physical improvements, we keep the city programmed year-round.
