BOSTON, MA--- The Cavs wrapped up a tough road trip on a 3 game losing streak after losing to the Celtics in Boston 116-107, defeating the Cavs for the 2nd time in 3 days. The Celtics also stay perfect at home, now 12-0 at TD Garden after beating the Cavs.

Early on, the Cavs started ice cold from beyond the arc, finishing the 1st quarter making only making 1 of 10 3 pointers attempted, compared to Boston's 5 makes out of 9 attempts, the ice cold shooting would continue throughout the first half, with the Cavs closing out the first half making only 20% of their 3 pointers attempted. The Cavs would not lead in the first half or the whole game for that matter, with the Celtics leading by as much as 14. Another theme of the game that would continue would be the Celtics killing the Cavs with the long ball.

The Cavs would show a good amount of fight in the 3rd quarter, primarily lead by Caris LeVert's 15 point 3rd quarter, LeVert single handedly kept the Cavs in the game, cutting the lead to as close as 3 thanks to a huge Darius Garland 3 pointer at the 3rd quarter buzzer, making the score 90-87 heading into the 4th. Caris LeVert would finish the game with 26 points and 5 assists. Boston would have something to say about that, opening the final quarter of play with 7 straight points to get a 10 point lead. The Cavs would continue to cut it close, but would not be able to take the lead. All 5 of Boston's starters were in double figures, lead by All Star guard Jayson Tatum with 27 points, followed by Jaylen brown with 22, Kristaps Porzingis with 18, Jrue Holiday with 15, and Derrick White with 14. The Cavs were led by Donovan Mitchell with 31 points, 6 assist and 8 rebounds.

The Cavs will return home to Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse Saturday night to host the Atlanta Hawks at 7:30 pm
