Downtown Parking:
- Downtown Cleveland will soon be welcoming smart parking meters!
- City Council recently approved a plan to replace all coin-operated parking meters with the ability to pay by credit card kiosk or smartphone app.
- You will start seeing these around Downtown very soon!
- Downtown Cleveland attends weekly City Council meetings to track and advocate for initiatives that enhance the economy of our city center and its public realm.
- Smart parking meters will improve the Downtown experience and make it easier to park Downtown and stay Downtown, promoting spending at local eateries, retail stores, and entertainment hubs.
Fall Fest:
- Come dressed in your best costumes for a day of spooky fun & tasty treats from this Saturday October 21st from 2-6pm!
- Guests will enjoy food trucks, the #dtCLE pet parade and costume contest, kids costume contest, music by DJ RED-I, giveaways, free children’s activities and more.
- There will also be a free looping Shuttle to Magic Mayhem in Tower City, Boo on the Bank on the Flats East Bank, and Back to Boo Bash in Voinovich Park it will run from 1:30-6:30 pm

Rockefeller Banners:
- Come Downtown to take a look at our new banners on the Rockefeller building that is undergoing redevelopment into a mixed-use space at the corner of Superior and West 6th!
- Downtown Cleveland continually seeks ways to enhance the city’s core, making it a more inviting and vibrant destination.
- Designed in-house by our Creative Brand Director TJ Lewis, these banners installed last week make traveling the streets of Downtown an engaging and exciting experience!
City Advocates:
- Our City Advocates had their second Environment session day last Wednesday in which they took a deeper dive into Quality of Life issues and the barriers many so often face.
- Thank you to our guests who dedicated time in their day to speak to this diverse group of professionals to further educate them on issues such as food insecurity, hidden barriers, and direct service work at shelters.
- The City Advocates program develops the next generation of city builders and provides opportunities to serve on our boards and committees.
- Throughout the nine-month program, participants collaborate with Downtown Cleveland staff to program and schedule eight monthly session days throughout the year, learning from civic leaders and gaining knowledge about how to get things done.
