An American Airlines flight from Miami to New York City was forced to land early after pepper spray was released inside the plane.
The FAA says a bottle of pepper spray was "inadvertently sprayed in the cabin" shortly after takeoff.
The plane was diverted to Jacksonville, where it was cleaned before continuing on to its destination.
American Airlines described it as "a disruptive incident involving a customer".
The FAA is investigating
