The Reds got revenge on the Guardians and earned a split in the Ohio Cup following a 7-2 victory from Great American Ball Park. Andrew Abbott earned the win after surrendering two runs on six hits while striking out five batters over five innings. Stuart Fairchild and Matt McClain each blasted two-run homers while Joey Votto also knocked in a run. Cincy improved to 63-and-59 and is third in the NL Central. Gabriel Arias slugged a solo shot for Cleveland, which fell to 58-and-63. The Guardians are second in the AL Central. Cincy is off today while Cleveland hosts the Tigers tonight
