Guardians fell to the Astros 7-3 in their series opener from Houston. Eli Morgan got the loss in relief after surrendering three runs while recording just one out. Noah Syndergaard impressed in his Cleveland debut and gave up just one run on two hits over five-plus innings. Gabriel Arias went three-for-four at the plate for Cleveland, which dropped to 53-and-54. The team is second in the AL Central. The series continues tonight.
