The Guardians salvaged their series with the Tigers following a 3-2 victory in Detroit. Jose Ramirez crushed a three-run homer in the sixth inning while Emmanuel Clase slammed the door on Detroit to earn his sixth save of the season. Cal Quantrill got the win after pitching six scoreless innings. Cleveland took one-of-three from the Tigers and improved to 10-and-9.
