It was a tough "Opening Night" for the Guardians as they fell to the Mariners 3-0 in Seattle. The game was scoreless heading into the bottom of the eighth inning until Ty France hit an opposite field, three-run homer to give Seattle the lead. Cleveland got the potential game-tying run to the plate the following inning, but Andres Munoz shut the door on Cleveland. Shane Bieber threw six scoreless innings while Amed Rosario got one of the team's four hits. The Guardians will try to bounce back tonight when Hunter Gaddis takes the mound opposite Robbie Ray.
