St. Patrick's Day is on Friday, March 17, with a parade happening right on time. This year's parade theme is "A Salute to Irish American Athletes," which will be interesting.
The parade starts at 1:04 p.m. with the grand marshal's ceremonial whistleblowing opening the festivities. Paradegoers will gather between 18th Street and Superior Avenue to East 22nd Street and Superior.
Kathleen Cooper, around 1:00 p, will sing the national anthems of Ireland and the United States.m. with the parade kicking off shortly after.
In addition, the parade will consist of civic officials, parade committee and honorees, safety forces, honor guards, Irish organizations, marching units, drill teams, floats, pipe bands, and school bands.
