Home Depot announced on Tuesday that it would be raising wages for workers in the U.S. and Canada.
The company will be investing $1 billion in the wage increase.
Starting pay for all jobs will now be at least $15 an hour.
According to President and CEO Todd Decker, 90% of Home Depot's store leadership starts as hourly employees.
