The search has ended for a Texas vigilante who fatally shot a masked robber at a Houston taco restaurant last week.
A lawyer representing the shooter has contacted the Houston Police Department and set up a time for his client to talk with investigators, according to a department rep. Neither the man’s name nor the interview date has been revealed.
Police have been looking for the man since last Thursday, when he foiled a robbery at The El Ranchito Number 4 by firing “multiple shots” at the armed thief, killing him. The vigilante then retrieved the money the crook had stolen from patrons and returned it to them before taking off, police say.
