Amazon has announced another round of layoffs, with 18,000 jobs eliminated.
CEO Andy Jassy notified employees on Wednesday. the layoffs will begin Jan. 18th, mostly focused on human resources and retail, and will not include warehouse workers.
The layoffs will account for roughly 6 percent of Amazon's corporate workforce.
