“Ferris Bueller” Ferrari Sold At Auction

“Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” is one of the 80’s most iconic film, and the Ferrari that was featured in it now has a new home. There’s a catch though… the car doesn’t run.

On Saturday, the prop car sold for $337,500. A genuine California Spyder Ferrari would sell for over $15 million…so the film’s producers opted to have the “highly detailed copies” made for the 1986 movie.

The prop car that was bought over the weekend has all of the “Ferrari finishes”…just “no drivetrain or engine.”
