CLEVELAND, OH--- Brooklyn comes into Cleveland on a 8 game winning streak and looks to extend it to 9 against the Cavaliers. The Cavs started the game leading 10-9 but the Nets would score to make 11-10 and would never look back. Brooklyn's largest lead was nineteen points, however Cleveland wouldn't go down without a fight as they pulled within four points with minuets left in the game. The Nets kept fighting them off and would secure an eight point 125-117 win. Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant lead the way for Brooklyn with a combine 64 points (32 points each) and for the Cavs Garland lead the way with a spectacular 46 point performance.
Cleveland will fall to 22-13 overall (16-4 at home) and have dropped their last two games. The Cavaliers will have 2 days rest before traveling to the Pacers in Indianapolis at Gainbridge Fieldhouse with a tip-off time set for 7:00PM EST.
