CSU Beats Mt. St. Joseph In Convincing Fashion 78-48

CLEVELAND, OH--- The Cleveland State Men's basketball team defeated Mt. St. Joseph Wednesday night in very convincing fashion, winning by a final score of 78-48, not trailing once the entire game.

CSU was dominate all game, at one point in the first half the Vikings would go on a 23-0 run. Drew Lowder was a standout, he lead all scorers with 18pts, shooting lights out from the field, making 7 of his 9 FG attempts, 4 of those being 3 pointers. Tae Williams also stood out, having 2 buzzer beaters, one to close out the first half, and another to beat the shot clock on a fadeaway jumper in the 2nd half. Yahel Hill was also in double figures scoring 12, and so was Jayson Woodrich, scoring 10 on a 44% shooting night. Mt. St. Joseph fought back at some points in the game, having 2 players in double figures in Evan Wiehe (11pts) and Kelvin Turner (14 pts)

The Vikings will get back into conference play on December 29th, traveling to Youngstown, OH to take on the Youngstown State Penguins, tip off is set for 8:00 pm, you can hear the game HERE
