A Georgia woman is behind bars after she reportedly burst into her neighbor's home and shot the occupant -- because she was annoyed by her barking dogs.

Flowery Branch resident Fonda Spratt, 56, is facing a number of charges in connection with the incident, which occurred late Tuesday morning, police say. After entering her neighbor's home and confronting her about her dogs, Spratt pulled out a gun and fired "several" shots, according to the Flowery Branch P.D. She hit her unidentified neighbor twice, police say. “This is incredibly unfortunate and could have ended in catastrophic results,” says Police Chief Christopher Hulsey. “There could have been more innocent individuals injured or killed.”

Spratt is being held on a $1,300 bond, police say. The condition of the unidentified victim has not been revealed.
