Guardians Fall to the Sox on a Rainy Cleveland Night, 2-0

CLEVELAND, OH--

Shane Bieber took the mound just under three hours after the original start time due to a rain delay to face Johnny Cueto for the White Sox. After Jose Abreu doubled in the top of the sixth, he drove in Luis Robert for the first run in the game and take the lead 1-0.

Josh Harrison extended the White Sox lead with a fly out to right field with a throwing error by Will Benson, to score Elvis Andrus and brought the score to 2-0 in the top of the seventh.

The Guardians lost in in a shutout game with a final score, 2-0.

The Guardians are back on the field to face the White Sox tomorrow with the first pitch at 12:05.
