CLEVELAND - The Vikings will open the Daniyal Robinson era at home, hosting Notre Dame College on Monday, November 7 in the 2022-23 season opener at the Wolstein Center.
Cleveland State will then hit the road for a trio of games at Cincinnati (November 10), Ohio (November 12) and Canisius (November 16), before returning home to the Wolstein Center for the CSU Home MTE featuring a two-game homestand.
During this two-game stretch the Vikings will host their first of three first-time opponents in Arkansas Pine Bluff (November 18), while also welcoming Chicago State to the Wolstein Center (November 23).
The Vikings will then close out the month of November with a game at Western Michigan (November 28), before traveling to St. Bonaventure on Wednesday, December 7.
Next up, the Vikings will host Kent State on Saturday, December 10, before traveling to Los Angeles, California to face Loyola Marymount on Sunday, December 18.
Cleveland State will then close out non-league play by hosting Mt. Saint Joe's (December 21), with the Loyola Marymount and Mt. Saint Joe's matchups marking the first meetings between the two teams in program history.
Prior to the official start of the 2022-23 season, the Vikings will host their lone exhibition of the year on Thursday, November 3, hosting Baldwin Wallace.
Cleveland State's 2022-23 non-league slate features three postseason teams from a year ago, a trio of 20-win teams from last season and three first-time opponents.
Earlier this year Daniyal Robinson was named the 17th head coach in Cleveland State men's basketball history, and will officially begin his first stint as a collegiate head coach when the Vikings take the floor against Notre Dame College.
