Guardians are putting an end to their three-game skid after taking down the Red Sox 8-3 in Boston. Kirk McCarty was credited with the win after holding the Red Sox scoreless over four innings of relief. Austin Hedges and Nolan Jones each went deep in the victory for Cleveland, which improved its record to 49-and-47. The series continues in Boston tonight.
