More than 110 years after the Titanic sank in the Atlantic Ocean, apparently cruise ships are still having trouble safely navigating icebergs.
The Norwegian Sun has sustained damage to its starboard bow in a collision with an iceberg that occurred Saturday off the coast of Alaska, the U.S. Coast Guard revealed on Wednesday. No injuries were reported.
Following the collision, a team of divers assessed the damage and determined the ship was seaworthy, allowing it to return to its home port in Seattle for repairs, the Coast Guard reports.
