The future of Baker Mayfield's career in Cleveland could be up in the air. The Browns quarterback posted a statement expressing his gratitude to the city on his social media accounts yesterday. Mayfield mentioned the uncertainty of his future with the Browns multiple times in the post, which was made on the same day that the team reportedly went to Houston to make a pitch to Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson. Cleveland is one of four teams in trade discussions for Watson, a move that would likely force Mayfield out of Cleveland. Mayfield had 3,010 passing yards, 17 touchdowns, and 13 interceptions for the Browns last season.
