COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--Thanks to rapidly declining COVID-19 numbers in Ohio, health officials will transition to reporting new cases, hospitalizations, and deaths on a weekly basis.
The Ohio Department of Health says beginning March 17th, the agency will release their updated COVID-19 numbers once a week, including cases, hospitalizations, and deaths.
Ohio has been one a few states left in the country that remained on a system of reporting new numbers on a daily basis.
Dr. Bruce Vanderhoff, ODH Director, says the agency will continue to monitor COVID-19 closely.
