(OHIO) - Ohioans are being advised to be on the lookout for a woman who abandoned a 15-month-old boy at a gas station on Thursday morning.
Columbus Police share that the woman brought the child into the Circle K convenience store on North Wilson Road in Columbus and then ran away, leaving the child behind.
Ohio's Safe Haven law allows biological parents to surrender a child to first responders but only up to 30-days after birth.
The boy was taken to Nationwide Children's Hospital and then released to Franklin County Children Services.
