A fight between McDonald’s drive-thru customers and employees is viral because it was over a packet of Splenda.
Marshall and Crystal Wallace were apparently angry when they were told they would have to come inside to get a packet of Splenda in Henry County, just south of Atlanta. That does kind of defeat the whole drive-thru purpose.
The confrontation quickly escalated when Marshall allegedly crawled through the drive -thru window and struck the manager in the leg with a chair.
He was charged with Criminal Trespass, Disorderly Conduct and Simple Battery. Crystal, who threw a drink at an employee and tried to hit them was charged with Simple Assault, Criminal Trespass and Disorderly Conduct for her role.
