Cleveland, OH - If you've been stressing about Thanksgiving and wondering how you are going to supply food to all of your hungry guests, the Greater Cleveland Food Bank has you covered! The Greater Cleveland Food Bank will be giving away 21,000 turkeys tomorrow in Municipal Lot for this Thanksgiving holiday.
Volunteers from the Cleveland City Council, Cuyahoga County Council, the Ohio General Assembly, and local volunteers through the food bank are just some people helping out in the event. In order to maintain safety guidelines, the food bank is asking for people to remain in their cars and to wear masks. Though this is a drive-thru, the food bank is expecting at least 5,000 households to show up so beware of traffic!
The food bank also plans to give out healthy foods ad other items to complete your holiday meals. However, in order to guarantee you receive a turkey, people need to pre-register to receive a code that you will need to present at the distribution center. Drive thru hours are 1pm-4pm. Go to www.WeFeedCle.org to receive your code.
