On if he is physically practicing well:
“Yeah, taking it one day at a time. Definitely progressing. We will see how today goes, but I feel good for the most part.”
On the Browns defense’s turnaround during the past few weeks:
“It is good. Not fun to watch, but fun to watch. The guys are clicking on all cylinders right now. Being able to stop the run and then rush coverage has been great, getting off of the field on third down so I am definitely looking forward to keep trending in that right direction.”
On what has led to the Browns defense’s success in recent weeks:
“They took that No. 4 off of the field (laugher). Just the guys buying in, understanding how we can be successful and everybody doing their job at the end of the day. That is what it comes down to – all 11 guys executing the defense and guys making plays when it comes their way. We have a lot of guys stepping up and making plays. You have great players, they do that. It also helps that (DE) Myles Garrett is getting to the quarterback in two seconds – the whole D line.”
On the challenges of not being able to play while seeing the Browns defense have success:
“I love it for the guys. For yourself, you always want to be a part of it. You want to be a part of the team and part of the team’s success, but at the end of the day, things work out that way, and you just have to support your teammates. I will always be that guy who will be the first one to help, cheer and everything. At the end of the day, it will come back.”
On if he is more anxious to play again to see the how impactful the Browns DL has been:
“Yeah (laughter). We will just leave it like that, yeah.”
