(Cleveland, OH) - Car Free Day is being celebrated in Cleveland this year on September 22nd.
Internationally known as World Car Free Day, the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit (RTA) is encouraging drivers to give up their car for the day and utilize other modes of transportation such as Public Transit, Biking, Ridesharing, Walking, etc.
This year, RTA will participate by hosting a rally on Public Square from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. where attendees can learn more about alternate ways to commute and how it can help the environment.
Attendees can:
·Get a $5.00 food truck voucher good for use at the 9/22/2021 event only
·Enjoy a live DJ and participate in line dancing on the Square
·Win prizes from RTA’s prize wheel by bringing your RTA pass to the table
·Check out RTA’s new HealthLine bus, powered by Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)
·Tour neighboring transit agencies vehicles
