(Cleveland, OH) - Cleveland Ballet is excited to be back performing to live audiences at Playhouse Square for the 2021 season with 28 company artists on the roster.
Returning dancers are a group of nationally and internationally recognized artists; the company now consists of artists from the United States, Armenia, Brazil, China, Colombia, France, Italy, Japan and the commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
This upcoming season brings together world-recognized and distinguished artists from top tier ballet companies including the New York City Ballet, the Bavarian State Ballet, the Israel Ballet Company, the A. S. Armenian Opera as well as the Ballet National Academic Theatre.
Cleveland Ballet will enter its 7th season by adding a newly staged production based Spanish author Miguel de Cervantes’ classic work, Don Quixote, on October 15th and 16th at the Mimi Ohio Theatre at 7PM, along with the enchanting story of The Nutcracker will be brought back on December 3 to 5, making its debut into a larger audience capacity house, Connor Palace. With a brand-new choreography and production of
Midsummer Night’s Dream, at the Mimi Ohio Theatre, accompanied by the magnificent musical score of Felix Mendelssohn, Cleveland Ballet will culminate the 2021-2022 season.
Performances of Don Quixote and A Midsummer Night’s Dream will be performed without intermission, maximizing audience safety.
