Cavaliers Rout Bulls Behind Sexton's 30 Point Performance

CLEVELAND, OH -- The Cleveland Cavaliers had a bad taste in their mouth following a 106-96 loss to the Bulls on Saturday, and were looking to bounce back on Wednesday night. Cleveland jumped out to a quick double digit lead, holding the Bulls to 12 total points in the first quarter while ending the quarter on a 25-4 run. The Cavaliers refused to let off the gas pedal, cruising to a 121-105 victory over the Bulls.

Cavaliers assistant coach Greg Buckner got the nod as acting head coach for the Cavaliers with JB Bickerstaff taking the night off due to personal reasons. The Cavaliers drenched coach Buckner in ice after securing his first ever win as an NBA head coach.

Cavaliers shooting guard Collin Sexton set a new career high for consecutive games with 20 or more points, notching his 11th straight game on his way to a 30 point night. Darius Garland shot an impressive 61 percent from the field, totaling for 25 points while assisting on four total buckets.

Cleveland will take Thursday off before taking on the Hornets in Charlotte. Tip-off on Friday night is set for 8:00 pm ET at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. Check out highlights from tonight's game below!
