BOSTON, MA -- The Cavaliers came out sluggish following back-to-back wins over a talented Nets team, and the hometown Boston Celtics took advantage. The Boston Celtics jumped out to an 11-2 start before Cavaliers Head Coach JB Bickerstaff yanked the entire starting lineup for a fresh five players. Boston never looked back after an early run, cruising to a 141-103 victory over the Cavaliers.

Boston showed dominance in the transition game, putting the Cavs on their heels early on and maintaining the pressure. Jaylen Brown carried the load in the absence of Celtics star forward Jason Tatum, leading all scorers with 33 points on an efficient 13-20 shooting. First year guard out of Purdue, Carsen Edwards, led the charge off the bench lighting up the Cavs for a career high 18 points.

Collin Sexton was the lone bright spot for the Cavaliers on Sunday night, surpassing the 3,000 points mark becoming the 5th quickest Cavalier to reach the mark.

The Cavaliers will look to get back on track on Monday night when they host the defending world champion Los Angeles Lakers. Tip-off on Monday evening is set for 8:00 pm ET at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio. Check out highlights from this game below!
