CLEVELAND (January 13, 2021) – The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is thrilled to reopen is doors to the public starting Sunday, January 17th with proven health and safety precautions in place to protect staff and guests.
The Rock Hall will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. with advance tickets required at rockhall.com to ensure timed entry and limit capacity for the safety of visitors and staff.
The Rock Hall reopens with committed health and safety guidelines in place that include daily continuous cleaning, hand sanitizing stations throughout the museum, space to social distance, temperature checks prior to entry, limited capacity with timed ticketing, staff and guests required to wear masks, cashless payment options, and plexiglass shields at checkout in the café and store.
In thanks for their time, energy, and compassion during the ongoing pandemic, the Rock Hall is offering a free admission day for all healthcare workers and their families on Sunday, January 17th.
Additionally, the Rock Hall is once again offering free admission to the community in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on Monday, January 18th, courtesy of the John P. Murphy Foundation. While the museum will be open, brand new programming will premiere virtually on the Rock Hall’s YouTube channel at 12pm and be available for viewing all day. The virtual programming is themed around the Rock Hall’s exhibit, “It’s Been Said All Along: Voices of Rage, Hope & Empowerment” that looks at how African American artists have been using music to respond to racism, to fight for equal rights, and to promote social justice throughout the entire history of rock and roll. Fans visiting the museum can enjoy new exhibits, including “It’s Been Said All Along” and “Iconic: Baron Wolman Images of an Era” exhibit, both also available virtually at rockhall.com. New artifacts on display include the Cavaliers rock-themed City Edition uniform, outfits worn by Harry Styles, Laura Jane Grace, and Jidenna, Maline Moye’s guitar, Bruce Springsteen’s surfboard, and more.
