Cavaliers Smother Sixers to Extend Win Streak to Three

CLEVELAND, OH -- Philadelphia Superstar big man Joel Embiid was a late scratch in tonight's matchup between the Sixers and Cavaliers. Cleveland Head Coach JB Bickerstaff put together a strong game plan for the visiting sixers and his team executed. The Cavaliers dominated the game in all aspects from start to finish en route to a 118-94 victory over the Sixers.

The combination of zone and man defense from Cleveland left Philadelphia confused, as they turned the ball over 21 times in a losing effort. Ball movement was the main storyline for the Cavaliers offense, combining for a total of 31 assists, marking the second highest assist total on the young season.

Cleveland center Andre Drummond utilized his size against a small Philadelphia lineup, dominating the paint and leading all scorers with 24 points while pulling in 14 boards. Collin Sexton continued his early season dominance with a 22 point night, knocking down 8 of 15 shots from the field. Cavaliers forward Kevin Love was pulled from the game 8 minutes into the game with right calf soreness.

The 3-0 Cavaliers will look to stay unbeaten on Tuesday night when they will welcome the New York Knicks. Tuesday's tip-off is set for 7:00 pm ET at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio. Check out highlights form tonight's game below!
