(Cleveland, OH) - The Cleveland Food Bank will be doing its weekly distribution at the City of Cleveland Muni-Lot on Thursday September 17th from 1-4 p.m.
It’s not your typical Browns tailgate day, the muni-lot will be taken over by the Food Bank serving thousands of households with fresh produce and other items. RTA will be on site volunteering and distributing masks.
The Food Bank is also receiving a donation from Tiller & Hatch, a national company that will provide a truckload of frozen prepared meals.
Over the last several weeks, the Food Bank has been averaging about 2,500 cars each week receiving food, up from June and July when the average was about 1,700 each week.
People are encouraged to register at www.WeFeedCle.org.
